Oldies But Goodies

I was organizing old pictures from my camera to my computer tonight.  Some of these pictures are back from October but they are too precious not to post!

Enjoy seeing pictures of your little sweeties!  Kindergarten sure is fun!

On Halloween we measured ourselves with "pumpkins".

We recorded our height in pumpkins on a class chart.

We had lots of fun playing different games during our party!  Thanks to all of the parents and grandparents who attended and helped with the games - you made our party a BIG success!

You may remember collecting pictures with your child for our ABC Fashion Show.

Oh my goodness!  It was so much fun!

The students worked hard to use their pictures to decorate a vest for their assigned letter.  We transformed our room to give it a "cat walk"  so it would feel like a real fashion show.  Mrs. Ridge was our emcee and gave each child a special introduction.  It was hilarious!

Each of the kids had their own moment to walk for their friends and they had the chance to strike a pose.  I love seeing their sweet personalities come out!

After everyone had a turn to walk, we had a dance party.  Of course it had to be to all of our favorite alphabet songs.  We had so much fun!

I had to post pictures from our 50th day of school celebration! It is one of my favorite days of the entire year!

Aren't they the cutest kids you've ever seen?  Love their outfits!

Our centers for the day all related to the number 50 in some way.  The boys and girls are such hard workers!

 

 

 

It was a rainy day outside, so we went to the gym to hula hoop!  We took turns - some of our friends counted to 50 while the others tried hula hooping.  Everyone had a turn to try it out!  They did really well!

 

 

Later in the day we practiced blowing bubbles with gum.  A few of our friends were able to make giant bubbles!  Unfortunately I couldn't catch them mid-bubble!

We ended our learning day by making and enjoying some root beer floats.  Yum!

It was delicious!
